To expand, in addition to the modern amenities, style and comfort of this hunter's retreat, the Lakehouse is situated to the northeast of Pelican Lake - a tranquil environment surrounded by dense forests and pristine shoreline. The serene lake covers ~500 acres and is an absolute wonder to explore.

Ossawinnamakee Lake is known for its pure, clear water and good fishing, too! While fishing enthusiasts can try their luck catching panfish, largemouth bass, walleye, and crappie, Ossawinnamakee Lake is also ideal for leisurely kayaking or canoeing.

In summer months, part of the beauty you'll enjoy at the The Lakehouse is its flora and fauna that lives on the property. There are several Lady Slippers (the Minnesota State flower!). Several deer also pass through the yard, especially in the early morning and evening to drink from the lake. Bears and eagles, and smaller land animals like fox and porcupine also frequent the area.

And then there's the loons. Ossawinnamakee Lake has six (6) pairs of loons (the Minnesota State bird!). You’ll likely hear their call in the morning hours.

Winter has it's own charm. The Lakehouse become a cozy lodge after a day of cross country skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling or snowshoeing. An expansive cabin with privacy, it's gorgeous design and setting makes for a special time in Minnesota's North Woods.
